Part of the Nike Sunburst Pack . the Air Max 97 Sunburst reimagines the retro runner with a multi-colored motif that celebrates one of Nikes heritage logos. Back in 1972 . the company wanted to give its apparel line a symmetrical logo . so graphic designers arranged the now-famous Swoosh trademark in a Sunburst or Pinwheel. This version of the AM97 released on August 28 . 2019 . and incorporates the throwback symbol on black leather atop its full-length Air-Sole unit.
